Fiber Request for Proposals

Request for Proposals: Dark Fiber Indefeasible Right of Use (IRU) and Maintenance Services issued jointly by Gilliam County and the City of Condon

Gilliam County and the City of Condon jointly seek competitive sealed proposals meeting the requirements set forth in the Request for Proposals (RFP) documents available through links below. Through the RFP, the County and City seek to purchase long term dark fiber usage rights and associated maintenance services across an underground fiber optic link between Arlington, Oregon and Condon, Oregon. The shared goal of the County and City is to use such fiber to promote the availability of broadband and other advanced telecommunications services to residents and businesses throughout Gilliam County, including those in the City of Condon as well as the geographic sub-region in which the County and City interact.
